Monday Menu Plan: 8/27/2012

Here we go with meal planning...

I LOVE meal planning. It helps me in so many ways!

If you are new to menu planning, all I can say is... TRY IT! You will be glad you did!!!

I always plan at least one night a week for leftovers. I have been trying to keep our grocery costs as low as possible, and one way to do that is by simply eating leftovers! Any food thrown away is wasted money, so I try to get all of our leftovers eaten up (leftovers can also make a quick and easy lunch!). If you get anything out of this post.... it is: DON'T WASTE YOUR LEFTOVERS! :)

Monday 27: Hawaiin Haystacks with toppings we have on hand

Tuesday 28: leftovers!

Wednesday 29: Italian soup, Rolls, and a green salad

Thursday 30: BLT sandwiches

Friday 31: Out of town for the night

Saturday 1: Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, strawberries, and vegetables from the garden

Sunday 2: Pork chop meal with carrots, and applesauce
